Workplace Charging Scheme & EV Charging Infrastructure Grant For Fleets & Staff

The Government’s Office for Zero Emission Vehicles are offering up to £850 per charging bay towards the purchase and installation of your EV charging solution. Businesses are limited to 40 sockets under the OZEV WCS grant, meaning you could save up to £15,000 per site in conjunction with the EV charging infrastructure grant for fleets and staff.

Landlord Charging Scheme & EV Charging Infrastructure Grant For Residential Car Parks

The Government’s Office for Zero Emission Vehicles are offering up to £850 per charging socket bay the purchase and installation of your EV charging solution. Landlords are limited to 200 grants a year for residential properties, and a further 100 for commercial properties
under the OZEV LCS grant, meaning you could save up to £30,000 per site in conjunction with the EV charging infrastructure grant for residential car parks.

Residential Apartment Charging Scheme Eligibility

To qualify for the Apartment OZEV grant you must:
  • Own, lease, or have ordered an Electric Vehicle.
  • Have off-street parking such as a driveway or garage.
  • Have written consent from the landlord if you are not the apartment owner.
  • Choose one of the OZEV approved electric vehicle charge points we supply.
  • Use an OZEV approved installer such as ourselves.


Workplace Charging Scheme & EV Charging Infrastructure Grant For Fleets & Staff Eligibility

To qualify for the workplace charging scheme grant & EV charging infrastructure grant for fleets & staff you must be a registered company, charity, or public authority – and must have:

  • Dedicated off-street staff/fleet parking.
  • Chosen an OZEV approved workplace installer such as ourselves.
  • A declaration stating you have a requirement for EV charging and intend to have an uptake amongst your staff &/or fleet.
  • Own the property or have written consent from the landlord to install charging points across all the premises listed in the application.
  • Have less than 249 employees.
  • Provide EV infrastructure to a minimum of 5 parking bays.
  • Have satisfied state aid requirements.


Landlord Charging Scheme & EV Infrastructure Grant For Residential Car Parks Eligibility

To qualify for the OZEV landlord charging scheme grant & EV infrastructure grant for residential car parks you must be one of the following:

  • Landlord of a property that lets the property.
  • Right to manage (RTM) company.
  • Companies owning the freehold of a leased or rented property.
  • Companies owning a building’s common areas. The company may comprise shareholders who are the leaseholders. The company may also manage the building.
  • Property factor listed in the property factor register.
  • Private registered providers of social housing (PRP).
  • Public authorities, such as government departments and their agencies, the armed forces, local governments, the NHS and emergency services.
  • Charities.

Once the grants have been approved within 5 working days you will be given a code/voucher that you will need to pass on to EV Planet to allow us to claim the grant-funded element of the installation. Once provided you will benefit from the immediate grant deduction of up to £350 per socket on your quote.

The EV infrastructure grant is limited to a minimum of 5 parking bays and capped at £500 per bay. Confirm your criteria and apply by submitting the form linked below to [email protected]
